Hayden has obviously decided to openly endorse Barack Obama. Just check her shirt! Hayden was seen wearing a shirt with Obama's face and name on it while leaving LAX two days ago. Hayden was also spotted leaving Beso restaurant with boyfriend Milo.
If you really want to impress your gym buddies, try turning up to your yoga class with a celebrity-designed yoga mat bag.
Starting Monday, 20 celebrity-designed one-of-a-kind bags will be available on eBay to raise money to help breast cancer sufferers in time for Mother's Day.
Celebrities including Leah Remini, Susan Sarandon, Hayden Panettiere and Miley Cyrus teamed up with Swarovski to each design a glam, crystal-encrusted gym tote.
Bidding will last through May 15 with proceeds going directly to the Libby Ross Breast Cancer Foundation. The foundation is also running a sunrise yoga class at the Top of The Rock Observation Deck at Rockerfeller Center on Thursday for 40 mothers and daughters whose lives have been touched by the disease.
"It's such a specialized class," says organizer Lori Ross who partnered with the OM Yoga Center. "The yoga instructor is a breast cancer survivor, so she understands each woman's recovery needs."
And for those who can't make the Top of The Rock class, The Libby Ross foundation offers free yoga classes for breast cancer survivors every Tuesday at the Om Yoga Center in Union Square. [SOURCE]
On the Vancouver set of her new comedy film "I Love You Beth Cooper", Hayden Panettiere, all glammed up for a party scene in a hot, curve-hugging strapless dress, put on a parka, braved a cold Vancouver rainstorm at North Shore studios to run across the lot and give us this little tidbit on the new "Heroes" season.
"I'm very excited to get back to "Heroes" in May and see all my castmates. Oh my Gosh! I just read the first episode. It is phenomenal. It is so good. I think it's better than the pilot of the first season. It's back to that action. It's action, action, action. It's crazy. I can't say that much about it but it's really exciting. The first episode is packed with cliff hangers and cool stuff! You read it and you go, 'they've figured out how to do it! They've figured out how to go back to the first season to make it even more exciting and entertaining. They've learned the concoction to make it great!" [SOURCE]
“Hey everyone! I’m in Vancouver right now filming a movie for Fox called, I Love You Beth Cooper. I’m having a blast filming and everyone is so nice. Chris Columbus is a wonderful director and one of my favorites so far. It’s very cool because I get to work with a lot of young people in this film and because it’s a comedy we get to be goofy all the time! I’m very excited to get back to Heroes in May and see all my cast mates. I also just received the script for episode one and let me tell you, it’s great! Heroes is back to the action and adventure that went on in the first season and even the first episode is packed with cliff hangers and lots of cool stuff! Hope all is well, thanks for checking out the site! Hayden” [SOURCE]
It's been ten days- I know. And I'm really sorry, but we've been experiencing some issues. There's no reason to worry, though. We're back on track and all the new updates will come as usual. So check back soon...
Hayden Panettiere has spoken out for the first time on her romance with Milo Ventimiglia and their 12 year age difference. The 18-year-old actress says that she and Ventimiglia keep their relationship private as they constantly face negative reactions to their age difference.
“It’s nice to be in the same industry. You often get invited to the same things, which is handy! (But) there is no good thing about being a couple in Hollywood,” Panettiere says. “People make their own opinions about everything, and they like to be very judgmental about things they know nothing about.”
“You just have to hope that if you don’t put it out there too much then they will have less to say about it,” she added. [SOURCE]
And Hayden is still busy working on her latest movie "I love You, Beth Cooper" in Canada. I've added lots of new pictures of her on set in Vancouver yesterday to the gallery.
The insanely funny folks over at Funny or Die are at it again. While I'm not sure anything could be better than Jerry O'Connell's spoof of Tom Cruise, this new clip has it's own brand of funny. It's Heroes star Hayden Panettiere talking about sexual harassment. It's not the sort of thing that employs lots of comedic technique, but the young actress plays it seriously -- and it works. So much so, in fact, that it has helped remove some of my Claire aggression.
It leads me to wonder if the key to Hayden goodness is just the right director? This puppy was helmed by Mr. Judd Apatow himself, so it's not terribly surprising that this clip is worth the time. Although, considering the name of the site, Hayden's Claire could fight off any death if it wasn't! [SOURCE]
Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere has confessed becoming a mega-star has turned her into a virtual recluse.
‘I don’t ever go out,’ she says, of her life in Hollywood, where she drives everywhere to avoid being recognised on the street. ‘I stay at home. I go from garage to garage, and keep myself out of sight.’ The 18-year-old, who has been catapulted into the A-list since taking on the role of cheerleader Claire Bennet in the top-rated US drama, admits she finds being famous ‘a pain in the ass’.
‘I love where I live and that I have wonderful friends there and I love what I do, but it really has a major impact on your life. This business is very intrusive. People want to know what you’re doing every day, and it becomes less about your craft and your art, and your love for acting, than it is about when you put food in your mouth, or when you’re walking your dog.’
Hollywood is joining the fight for D.C. voting rights.
Hayden Panettiere (PAN'-uh-tee-EHR'), the young star of the NBC show "Heroes," has filmed a commercial with D.C. shadow senator Paul Strauss urging residents to contribute money to the cause.
The ad was filmed outside the U.S. Capitol and will begin airing Friday on the D.C. government's two cable channels. Panettiere says "Be a hero - end taxation without representation here in D.C."
Strauss says he ran into Panettiere on Capitol Hill, where she was stumping for Save the Whales. When she began lobbying him, Strauss told her D.C. doesn't have a vote in Congress. Strauss says she then offered to help. [SOURCE]
Fox Atomic can’t get enough of Hayden Panettiere. Shortly after casting the 18-year-old star in the upcoming I Love You, Beth Cooper, the studio signed her up for the lead role in Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List.
The story, based on a novel recently purchased by Fox Atomic, is about the friendship between Naomi and a gay guy named Ely. To stay soulmates forever, they create a "no kiss list" – people they can't kiss under any circumstances. Ely breaks down and breaks the bond, by smooching Naomi's boyfriend, Bruce. When Bruce chooses Ely over Naomi, the former friendship becomes a complicated love triangle.
This will be a pleasant departure from Hayden Panettiere’s cheerleader roles. She played one in 2006’s Bring It On: All or Nothing, the third in the series first made popular by Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku. Then Panettiere gained fame for her role as Claire Bennet, the cheerleader with self-healing powers on NBC’s “Heroes”. There she met her current boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia, who’s clearly not on her real-life no kiss list. Panetierre will once again shake her pom-poms in I Love You, Beth Cooper.
It seems strange that the young actress might be typecast as a rah-rah girl, considering her notable reputation for social activism, especially involving animal rights. PETA awarded the actress the "Compassion in Action Award" last year for trying to stop a dolphin hunt.
So her other upcoming projects seem like more promising opportunities to show her talents. In addition to No Kiss, she has been cast as an acerbic teen in Daydream Nation with Kieran Culkin. Hayden Panettiere is also recording an album, with the first single, "Wake Up Call," to be released in the fall. [SOURCE]
Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere will voice the lead roles in the animated Alpha and Omega.
The story follows two kidnapped wolves trying to get back their pack. Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller will also lend their vocal stylings to the project. Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck will direct from a screenplay by Chris Denk based on a story by Steve Moore.
The project marks the first team-up of Lionsgate and Crest Animation Productions. Production is currently under way in Los Angeles for a 2010 release. [SOURCE]
Okay - so I have added a lot of HQ images of the recent events to the gallery. And I have also added some more on Set images of Hayden shooting I Love You, Beth Cooper in Vancouver.
Hayden attended the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards where she presented an award to Miley Cyrus and on the same day she also attended the 22nd Genesis Awards where she was honored for speaking out about animal cruelty. More images might be added later.
I am really sorry for the long lack of updates but Hayden has been really busy shooting her movie: I Love You, Beth Cooper in Vancouver. Some on set images have been added to the gallery.
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere cried Saturday night as the Humane Society gave her an activism award for protesting the annual dolphin slaughter in Southwestern Japan last year.
Hayden received the Gretchen Wyler Award, given annually at the Genesis Awards to a celebrity who brings attention to animal causes. Wyler, who founded the awards and was also an actress, died last May from breast cancer, two months after presenting the first award to Paul McCartney.
Hayden’s parents and her boyfriend – and Heroes costar – Milo Ventimiglia were in the audience and watched a video of the actress and others paddling out on surfboards and confronting fishermen, who trap and kill dolphins to protect their fish supply. They then gave a standing ovation as Hayden took the stage.
"As an actress, you always dream of getting awards like the Golden Globe award, but I never expected to get an award that is this special and important to me as this," Hayden said through tears. "There are people who dedicate their entire lives to preserving the environment and defending animals, they are so much more deserving of something like this."
After the brief speech, she went straight from the stage to the bathroom for several minutes to regain her composure, and then was escorted back to her seat by Ventimiglia.
Hayden skipped the afterparty, having to return in the morning to shooting the movie I Love You, Beth Cooper. Panettiere stars in the Chris Columbus comedy, being shot in Vancouver.
"She’s an inspiring example to her generation, using her compassion, courage and celebrity to help animals in a very effective way,” said Beverly Kaskey, Senior Director of the Humane Society’s Hollywood Office. [SOURCE]
This guy is winning over the fam. We reported in January that Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia got the stamp of approval from Hayden Panettiere’s mother, Leslie Panettiere. Now he has the OK from her 13-year-old brother, Jansen Panettiere. “Milo is cool, he’s a pretty chill guy,” Jansen Panettiere told Us Weekly at the Alvin and the Chipmunks DVD release party in L.A. Thursday.
Hayden Panettiere and young Jansen Panettiere are both actors! As you surely know, Hayden Panettiere, 18, and Milo Ventimiglia, 30, have been dating since last year, following a long string of denials that they were dating. Ventimiglia had a crush on his Heroes co-star since she back when she was dating reality star and VJ Stephen Colletti. That ended last summer sometime. Milo confessed it “the minute she broke up with Stephen,” a source said. A source close to the actor shrugged off their 12-year-age gap between the two hotties, saying, “[Hayden] is really like a 30-year-old. [SOURCE]
You know how the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles star reportedly told Life & Style magazine a couple weeks back that he thought the relationship between his former Heroes costar Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia was "gross" because of the age difference? (If not, you can read about it here.)
Well, we just so happened to witness the aftermath at a recent Fox party, where Mr. Dekker came face to face with a Life & Style reporter and erupted into: "Wait a minute! Aren't you guys the ones who reported that comment about Hayden?!...I'm gonna kill that guy! I said it was gross, but then I said I was just kidding!"
Dekker was actually pretty sweet and playful about it, telling the L&S reporter (who did not pen the initial story), "I know it's not your fault." Still, he was mighty insistent on setting the record straight.
"On the Internet, it says I'm disgusted by [Hayden and Milo's relationship]," Dekker said. "I would have to actually care to be disgusted by it. I'm not disgusted. And, you know, if the relationship is making them happy, then of course it's not gross. I'm just saying that I could never date someone with that big of an age [difference]. I just don't see myself having anything in common with a person whose age is that [far from mine], but that's just me." [SOURCE]
Hayden was photographed boarding a plane at LAX airport in LA. She's also on the covers of "Seventeen" and "Cosmo" magazine. Here's a snippet of Cosmo's interview: "I don't have a model's body. But I'm not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they're fat. I'm okay with what I have. I can rock this body, you know?" You can read a few more quotes and view both magazine covers here
I have already reported earlier that Hayden appeared on Larry King Live to talk about the upcoming election. Now I have also added some candids of her arriving at the CNN Studios for her interview.
Hayden and her mother were spotted apartment hunting in LA a few days ago and I have added some pictures to the gallery. Also Hayden was on CNN's Larry King last night talking about the importance of the youth vote and explaining her involvement in "Declare Yourself".
