Hayden Panettiere drinks water to stay in shape.
The ‘Heroes’ actress has revealed she speeds up her metabolism by drinking a glass of water before every meal. She said: “I try to watch what I eat and I use a couple of tricks I have learned. “Before every meal, I drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes. This is supposed to start your metabolism, so when you eat, your metabolism is already going.” Hayden takes her time when she is having her meals to ensure she doesn’t overeat and avoids dining too late in the evening. The 19-year-old beauty added to Britain’s Celebs on Sunday magazine: “I try to eat slowly because you don’t realise how full your body is until 20 minutes later. “I generally have breakfast as my biggest meal of the day, and I don’t eat past a certain hour, although I am not always strict with these rules.” Hayden also swears by having regular facials and exercises on the treadmill in her living room when she is at home. 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere says fame has made her a confident woman and given her the platform to air her opnions.
Hayden Panettiere says fame is "empowering". The 'Heroes' star uses her celebrity status to campaign for several causes close to her heart, particularly the campaign to end whale hunting, and admits she is privileged to be able to do so. The 19-year-old actress said: "I get to travel across the world and meet amazing people. And I also get a platform to speak out on things I'm passionate about, one of which is the Whaleman Foundation. "I'm in a very powerful position and so I feel a responsibility to speak out for causes I believe in. It's very empowering - especially for a young female." Hayden intends to carry on protesting for animal rights and is glad her involvement can make a difference. She explained to Cosmopolitan magazine: "It's sad but it's true that there are people who can work their entire lives trying to change the world and someone who is in the public eye can come along and say one thing and they've done more for that cause than the other person ever could. "Being able to make a difference feels amazing." Although Hayden loves being famous, she does sometimes wish she could step out of the public spotlight and enjoy life without being scrutinised.  A beautiful Hayden Panettiere is on the September 2009 cover of UK’s Company magazine. In the interview with the magazine talks about dealing with the gossip, staying in shape and staying grounded. Here are the highlights:On dealing with the gossip: It depends on what it is. Sometimes things come up that need to be dealt with or damage-controlled, but if they don’t then I stick my fingers in my ears and go ‘lalalala’-I don’t care. On staying in shape: Staying in shape is part of my job, but I’m not always the best at being diligent about working out. I try not to let it grab hold of my life. On staying grounded: Well, for one thing, it’s like having a bunch of big brothers on the set [of Heroes]. I am the butt of every joke in that place-I’m constantly being made fun of and having my ego smashed by them! But really it’s just the people that are around me-my family and really close friends. Sorry for the lack of updates, I was busy with my job! But now I have more time for Hayden and this source! Hope, you understand. Soo...Tomorrow I added tons of pics from 2009 Teen Choice Awards. Hayden won "Choice TV Actress Action Adventure" and "Choice Celebrity Activist." I think the last one is the most important! Because I think nowadays no one can do a lot for animals, but Hayden can! She's a hero! =)

Hayden Panettiere is quite happy being a role model for teenage girls — as long as they realize she isn’t perfect.
The Heroes star says although she tries to stay well-behaved she can’t guarantee she will stay out of trouble and she wants everyone to remember that. “I think the only problem with attempting to be a role model is the fact that you just want to go, ‘okay, I’ll be a role model for you. I’d love to, but don’t expect me to be perfect because I’m not and I do screw up and I do make mistakes and I can’t always think of everyone else and what they’re going to say’. “Because at the end of the day the only person you can make happy is yourself. No matter whether it’s wrong or right or looks good or looks bad, somebody will hate it. Somebody will.” The 19-year-old recently revealed that she was bullied at school. “I was never the popular girl. I actually thought the worst was middle school, it was all about where you sat in the lunchroom,” she said. “And it was one of the most traumatizing experiences for me. I was absolutely tortured. “I remember going to sit with the popular kids for the first time because one girl invited me over and one of the guys pulled the chair out from underneath me before I sat down and everyone started laughing. Hayden Panettiere heats up the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.

So, let's start with hot news from Hayden! :) Stars getting tattoo’s in foreign languages isn’t new, but unlike the general public stars usually get the spelling on their tattoos right. Hayden Panettiere is the exception. Panettiere has a tattoo down her side reading “Vivere senza rimipianti,” which is suppose to be Italian for ”Live without regrets.” Except for one small thing: Rimipianti is not the correct spelling.
