On August 9th Hayden appeared with "The Band From TV" at the Netflix Live! event at The Autry National Center Of The American West Los Angeles, CA. She performed a few songs alongside "Heroes" co-stars Adrien Pasdar and Greg Grunberg. Other musical acts included Teri Hatcher, James Denton and Hugh Laurie.

Hayden attended the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Traditionally teenagers across the United States vote for their favorite celebrities in a number of categories. The awards, which where hosted by Miley Cyrus this year, were held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. Hayden won the award for best actress.

I have once again added a beautiful new shoot that Hayden did for TV Guide about two months ago. I also made some changes around the site. Stramm was installed- so now the gallery and the news look a lot better and I updated the sidebar with all the info on Hayden's new projects.

On Sunday Hayden attended the traditional Summer TCA (Television Critics Association) NBC Party. Heroes didn't get a panel this year but they'll be at the comic con in San Diego later this week. Also a quick reminder that the Heroes season two DVD box will be available on August 26. The features include: Audio Commentaries with Cast & Crew, Deleted Scenes, Heroes Season 2 "A New Beginning" and NBC.com Featurettes. And some Heroes Spoiler. Here's what Hayden had to say about Claire in season three:

"Something happens to [Claire] that's actually quite frightening to her, and it plays a big part in who she becomes in the future and what happens to her. I wish I could babble about it now because I have a lot to say about it, but I can't. But it's something, yes, that manifests further about her ability that weighs heavily on her emotionally, and mentally, as a person. And I think it would [weigh on] anyone who would be going through a situation like that...I think Claire plays a very important role in what happens, and in that way she can be worse than all of them." "Future Claire's very different, and it's a very different world. It's kind of, as you can imagine, a world gone a little bit awry. She's a very different person."

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has hinted that she is taking on two characters in the next series of the hit show.

The actress -- who plays sweet-natured cheerleader Clare Bennett in the NBC sci-fi drama -- says that her character takes a nasty turn in future episodes.

She reveals, "We have received the scripts for the next season and everyone is so excited about it.

"It has some really, really great storylines and a couple of us get to play two different characters.

"For a second we go between present and future. The characters are very different. Maybe good and evil too." [SOURCE]

Hayden attended the 2008 ESPYs Giant Event a couple of days ago in Los Angeles and she looked stunning as always in a very colorful and also very pretty dress. I like the way she styled her now short hair, but I wonder what they do with her on the Heroes set everyday to make it look so long...

Her album has been four years in the making, with Hayden revealing: '[The sound] changed so much over the years just because my life experiences and who I am as a person is obviously reflected in the music.'
The result, she says, is collection of 'very different, very diverse' tracks.
The album will be sponsored by the footware/clothing line Candie's. Her first single "Wake Up Call" is also featured in her commercials for Candie's. Another six print ads for Hayden's campaign have been added to the gallery.

It'll contain four discs and due to the writers' strike only 11 episodes but lots of extras to make up for it.

She may have been discussing her new sassy haircut, but "Heroes" actress Hayden Panettiere also gave away some "Heroes" news.

Be prepared "Heroes" fans, there won't be just one Claire when the show returns. How about one good Claire, and one bad Claire. So now the show may go something like this: "Save the cheerleader, save the world," and then "Don't save the bad cheerleader, she's trying to destroy the world."

Panettiere, who appeared at the Ford Flex Rally in L.A. this weekend, talked about her new short bob. The 18-year-old actress said that because she wears extensions, and one of the Claire's has dark hair, she was ready for a change.

She said the new short bob is easy, she can just get up and go.

Even though she spilled a little about "Heroes," she still wasn't talking with her relationship with "Heroes" co-star Milo Ventimiglia. By the way he has really nice hair also. [SOURCE]

Hayden finally attended a public event. It's been a while since we've really seen her out in the open! She attended the Kira Plastinina US Launch in Los Angeles, yesterday. And let me tell you: she looked beautiful in her black dress.

Kira Plastinina, a teenager labeled as the world’s youngest fashion designer.

Kira is only 15-years-old but has conquered Russia and is now opening stores in the US. New York City will be home to the first Kira Plastinina store arriving in March with ten other stores slated to open in Manhattan and Los Angeles. A stylist for Glamour magazine weighed in on her clothing.

I think it is great of Hayden to support this young talent!

Could Hayden Panettiere and Stephen Colbert bring the 'Smurfs' movie to life? USA Today thinks so! The vulnerable entertainment paper has created a fantasy breakdown pairing Smurf favorites with Hollywood stars!

An '80s Saturday morning classic, the Smurfs have actually been around since 1958, known as Les Schtroumpfs by Belgian cartoonist PEYO.

Now they're set to star in a big screen adventure. Sony studios is currently developing a live-action/animation feature based on the little blue creatures. [SOURCE]

The 18-year-old ‘Heroes’ star admitted to “experimenting” with her female friends when she was growing up.

She said: “It’s great to be single. It’s great to have boyfriends. Or girlfriends. There are occasions when you kiss your best friend growing up, having fun and goofing about. Like perfecting your technique.” Hayden – who is rumoured to be dating her ‘Heroes’ co-star Milo Ventimiglia – refused to talk about her love life.

She said: “People are more interested in who celebrities are dating than the events going in the world. I’m not shallow. And I’m not sharing.”

The actress also revealed she doesn’t care about paparazzi attention, and prefers to concentrate on her career.

She added to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I think there are some people who like that sort of attention more than others. I used to walk my dogs in my pajamas and couldn’t have cared less, but you become paranoid and you get worried.” [SOURCE]

As part of the latest deal linking its teen clothing line to a young female music act, fashion brand Candie's will help promote the song "Wake Up Call" from "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere's forthcoming album from Hollywood Records.

The ad campaign will begin at the end of July, while the song will be released digitally Aug. 5. "Wake Up Call" will appear on Panettiere's still-untitled debut album, which is slated for 2009.

Candie's announced an advertising and marketing pact with Panettiere in February. The brand's incorporation of her music into the campaign follows in the footsteps of its deal last summer with Interscope and Fergie, whose songs "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Glamorous" were promoted in Candie's TV commercials.

While best-known to audiences as world-saving cheerleader Claire Bennet on NBC's "Heroes," Panettiere's record deal with Hollywood precedes her prime-time success from the past two years, according to Hollywood Records senior VP of marketing Ken Bunt.

"We had to work within her crazy schedule to determine what direction she wants to go with her music," Bunt says. "Wake Up Call" is a reggae-flavored pop song that was written by Andreas "Quiz" Romdhane and Josef Larossi, who have previously written tracks for Geri Halliwell, Diana Ross, Il Divo and Westlife.
